摘要 | Diversion fracturing has attracted increasing attention to satisfy the rising demand for hydrocarbon resources. In this study, a novel targeted-plugging and fracture-adaptable diverting system applicable for high temperature (150 degrees C) was developed, which was based on gel, fibers, and coal fly ash (CFA). Gel was used as the matrix and carrier of other constituents, while fibers and CFA assisted to strengthen the structure of the diverting system. This system could plug at designated positions and be applied to complex fracture networks. By adding different compositions and modifying ambient conditions, the gelation time could be varied to adjust the plugging position. Gelation time could be controlled from 10 min to 45 min, which was sufficiently long for field application. Plugging and degradation behavior tests were conducted to confirm that the system could form plugs and finally become degraded under 150 degrees C. |
