摘要 | Current research in bioresorbable electronics and biodegradable engineered bacteria has promised the prospect of realizing a transient microbot system (TMS) for targeted drug delivery. In this paper, we propose a potential multi-scale TMS architecture for transporting a pharmaceutical compound in the human body, which includes an external controlling macro-unit (MAU) and in vivo micro-units (MIUs) to achieve high-efficiency drug delivery. We present the conceptual design and simulation methodology of the proposed system, which paves the way for inspection of its operation and efficacy currently underway. |
