摘要 | This paper proposes a mode tracking method based on far-field patterns for metasurface antenna feedless optimization using characteristic mode analysis (CMA). The envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) is used for tracking desired modes during the shape optimization processing. This approach is demonstrated using a metasurface-based antenna operating for dual 5G millimeter-wave bands. The results indicate that the desired modes can be effectively optimized for radiation performance optimization. |
