摘要 | This paper presents a BCC transceiver designed for softeware-defined applications. In the RX side, a novel 2.5 bit/cycle structure is adopt in 5-bit SAR ADC for fast-converging sampling. Before the ADC, a PGA based on CCII amplifies the signal with improved energy efficiency. In the TX side, a DAC-like body driver is utilized to transmits PAM4 signal into human body with boosted bandwidth utilization. Fabricated in 180 nm CMOS process and under 1.5 V supply, it achieves 10 Mbps with 119.2 pJ/bit efficiency. |
