摘要 | A MIMO endfire antenna array is designed using phase reversal technology and cross over structure in this article. It is composed of 10 endfire antennas, each of which works at 38.5-40GHz with 12.8dBi endfire gain and 68% average total efficiency. Exciting antenna one by one in a certain order, e.g. in a clockwise order, lets this array antenna scan 360° gradually. When all antennas are working, changing the phase difference between two adjacent antennas could slightly control the shape of radiation patterns. Simulating this design by CST and HFSS, the result successfully validates the proposed design principle and verifies its use for MIMO communication. |
