摘要 | A high scanning rate leaky wave antenna for millimeter-wave applications is presented. Based on its features of high scanning rate, single-hemisphere radiation, and continuous scanning from backward to forward, it appears suitable for millimeter-wave imaging, radar detection and other useful applications. It consists of a slotted substrate integrated waveguide transmission line. An asymmetric sinusoidal modulation of slots has been introduced to achieve efficient radiation, with a closed stopband. Simulation results show that the antenna can scan from -31° to +36° in frequency range of 37.7-42.0 GHz. This translates to a scanning rate of 6.2° per relative bandwidth. |
