摘要 | We present a phase velocity-related Poynting vector in elastic modeling that represents the direction of the phase velocity rather than that of the group velocity as obtained by the conventional Poynting vector. This yields a highly efficient wave-mode separation scheme for vector elastic reverse time migration (ERTM), especially in anisotropic cases. We separate qP- and qSV-waves by first obtaining the polarization vector based on the proposed Poynting vector using an analytical formula and then performing a coordinate transformation based on the resulting polarization vector. Only a tiny amount of additional storage or computation is required. We provide a numerical implementation under both regular and unstructured meshes, thus allowing for spatially varying grid sizes according to the local velocities as well as accurate description of interface topographies. A Poynting vector and unstructured-mesh-based anisotropic ERTM scheme was then proposed. The resulting scheme can yield migrated opening-angle gathers related to qP- and qSV-waves without extra effort. The accuracy and efficiency of the resulting scheme are verified by several numerical examples of two-dimensional transverse isotropic media. |
