摘要 | By investigating the change of microstructure features in the presence and absence of hydrogen, we studied the influence of internal hydrogen on the plastic deformation ahead of a crack tip in tungsten foil. After micro -mechanical loading, ahead of the crack tip in the hydrogen-charged tungsten, we found an intermittent plastic zone composed of dislocation tangles and a dislocation network with an L-square shape. The L-square dislocation structure tended to move along the crack propagation direction. These observations are attributed to the hydrogen effect on the energy release rate and the stress intensity factor. The propagation of crack is considered a result of the competition between H-modified dislocation motion and H-induced decohesion. |
