摘要
A compressive sensing (CS) imaging system employing a multimode fiber is proposed. Broadband light from mode-locked laser goes through a multimode fiber and then produces speckles, which are randomly distributed and ideal for CS imaging. The proposal has the merits of low-cost and easy access compared with the traditional CS method using pseudorandom binary sequence (PRBS). What's more, the utilization of CS method and photonic time stretch (PTS) technique could achieve ultrafast CS imaging. In this work, the randomly distributed speckles are experimentally investigated and utilized to demonstrate the proposed CS imaging. The demonstrated result illustrates a 27 × 27 pixels image is recovered with varied compression ratios.
