摘要 | In this paper, a simple and easy-to-fabricate endfire antenna design based on spoof surface plasmon polaritions (SSPPs) is proposed. Being implemented on a thin dielectric substrate, the antenna employs the SSPP unit cells to support the propagating surface waves and an extended substrate improves the radiation to the free space. The proposed antenna can generate endfire radiation beam at the operational frequency of 13 GHz with maximum realized gain of 12.9 dBi and a high radiation efficiency of 78 %. |
