摘要 | In this paper, a compact broadband metamaterial absorber is proposed. The unit cell of the proposed structure comprises two metallic layers with hexagonal patch printed over dielectric substrate. To enhance the resonate effect, the unit cell structure consists of three dielectric layers and two air layers. The simulated results of this structure show 90% absorption bandwidth of 14.2 GHz from 4.3 GHz to 19.1 GHz. To achieve this broadband, two air layers inserted to this structure to enhance the resonance effect. In this broadband, the performance of the absorber has been investigated under different oblique angles and polarization angles of the incident wave and the influence of the air layer. While the configuration is simple and with a thickness of 0.107). and a unit cell size of 0.136). (corresponding to the lowest frequency). The designed absorber is compact, thin and has potential to be used for multiple EM applications. |
