摘要 | Positively charged air particles are harmful to health. This paper proposes the use of negatively charged UV antenna to neutralize the positively charged pollutants into a DC electricity without any external power supply. The UV antenna is negatively charged by a natural source of negative ions. The output voltage reflects on the density of the atmospheric positive ions. The proposed system generates 0.42 V in the absence of an UV light if the antenna is connected to the negative ion source. On exposure to an UV light, the proposed system generates 0.55 V. Without the negative ion source, however, the output voltage fell to around 10 mV and no significant voltage rise can be observed even in the presence of an UV light. |
