摘要 | A compact wideband monopole antenna is proposed for IoT applications. The antenna consists of a microstrip feed line, a rectangular radiator and a ground plane. The main objective is to achieve a small size of the antenna by numerical optimization of all antenna parameters while maintaining the electrical characteristic of antenna at the acceptable level. The antenna design exhibits dimensions of only 3.7 mm × 11.8 mm and the footprint of 44 mm. Simulation results are validated through measurements of the fabricated antenna prototype. |
