摘要 | In this paper, Fano resonance based on metal–insulator–metal structure is proposed and investigated by cascading double cavities, which exhibit high transmission and sharp Fano resonance peaks via strengthening the mutual coupling of the cavities. The simulation results show that with the symmetry breaking introduced in the structure, the number of Fano resonances increases accordingly. This work can find considerable applications in bio/chemical sensors with excellent performance and other nano-photonic integrated circuit devices. © 2017 Taylor & Francis Group, London. |
