摘要	Carotid artery web (CaW) is a rare focal fibromuscular dysplasia, which is an underappreciated risk factor for transient ischemic attack. This case illustrates the dynamic evolution of secondary thrombus and plaque in CaW, and the importance of carotid doppler ultrasound in early detection and follow-up.
