摘要 | The braid coaxial cable is known for its flexibility in all kinds of soft cable fabrication types. However, due to its specific manufacture process by multiple metal contacts that bring it flexible, its passive intermodulation performance is also the most difficult parameter to be improved, which also suffers huge risk in other flexible application scenes. This paper proposes a simplified model for the passive intermodulation product calculation method on braid coaxial cables. This model takes the contact sources on the outer conductor as the passive intermodulation source, a multiple nonlinear contact source model for the cable with similar TEM mode field distribution is established and simulated. This model can help analyze the cable passive intermodulation impact by braid manufacture and different coaxial diameters. |
