摘要 | The interface between solid-state electrolytes (SSEs) and Li metal poses a significant challenge in all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs). Coating a metal layer on SSEs has been recognized as an effective method for optimizing the SSE/Li interface. However, a comprehensive understanding of how metal layers influence Li deposition behavior remains elusive. Here, we demonstrate that the In layer exhibits a superior effect in optimizing the interface compared to other metal layers (Cu, Mg, Zn, Sn, Pt, Au). Long-term cycling of Li symmetric cells based on both organic PEO and inorganic antiperovskite LiOHBr SSEs with an In layer reveals the spherical Li deposition, primarily attributed to the in situ formation of a Li-In alloy at the SSE/Li interface. Moreover, stable cycling performance is demonstrated in LiFePO | Li ASSBs employing SSEs modified with an In layer. This work not only provides insights into the Li deposition behavior induced by the In layer on SSEs but also offers valuable guidance for future interface design in ASSBs. |
