商王朝宫室类建筑的发现、保护与展示

偃师商城、洹北商城和安阳殷墟发现的建筑遗迹中，有若干面积近万平方米甚至规模更大的四合院。这些四合院位于宫殿区最前端，整体修于夯土台基之上，台基边缘筑墙与外部隔开，中间设庭院，主殿坐北朝南且多室相连，南部及东西两侧修廊道。此类建筑应即《史记·殷本纪》中记载的宫室，商代青铜器铭文称之为“■”，是商代国王赐贝、赐金的场所。商代宫室建筑具有多重价值，需要从价值链角度解读和保护。

Many remains of siheyuan have been discovered in the capital cities of the Shang Dynasty. Some of them occupied an area of nearly 10,000 m2, or even more, and are located at the front end of the building clusters in the centre palace area of the capital sites. ■ey were built on rammed earth foundations with enclosure walls blocking them from the outside. ■eir main hall was built at the northern part of the courtyard with a number of rooms. Inscriptions on bronze vessels of the Shang Dynasty refers to the main hall, which is obviously a part of a building called ("Jian"), where the Shang emperors usually offered cowrie shells or gold to their followers according to the inscriptions. ■is kind of architecture should be interpreted as Gongshi (palace) of the Yin Benji chapter in the Records of the Grand Historian. A systematic collation of these buildings is believed to form a value chain, which is the key to good preservation of these important buildings.
