摘要 | In this paper, we propose a novel design principle for fixed-beam leaky wave antenna. Inserting the phase loading structures between the radiation units, one can achieve a high gain in the direction of the endfire. Supported by the characteristic of the leaky wave antenna, the scanning rate can be slowed down near the endfire direction. By designing the parameters according to the theoretical formula, one can split the endfire beam into two fixed beams in the desired band. Simulated results show that the proposed fixed-beam antenna achieves 13.2 dBi and 8-degree angle deviation in the band between 16-17 GHz. |
