摘要 | This paper presents a novel 1-bit reconfigurable reflective metasurface design that achieves wide impedance bandwidth for potential integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) applications. A dual-patch unit cell with a pin diode is proposed to realize two reflection states with 180° phase difference. Analysis based on equivalent circuit shows that the pin diode acts as an inductor and capacitor in the “ON” and “OFF” states, respectively. Full-wave simulations validate that the metasurface exhibits a 1-bit phase modulation between 15.5-27.5 GHz, corresponding to a 55.8% relative impedance bandwidth. Furthermore, an 18x18 metasurface array is simulated and a 39.1 % 3-dB gain bandwidth is achieved. Its wideband and reconfigurable features make it a potential solution for ISAC applications such as high-resolution radar imaging and sensing. |
