Asymptotically expansive homeomorphisms with the shadowing property

This work studies the interplay between bi-asymptotically expansive homeomorphisms, as introduced in [12], and the shadowing property. We prove that their joint presence implies positive and negative limit shadowing properties. Furthermore, we derive conditions under which these homeomorphisms satisfy the two-sided limit shadowing and specification properties. Our exploration extends to their entropy theory, where we establish global and local conditions for the positiveness of topological entropy. Additionally, we show connections between topological entropy and the set of periodic orbits associated with these homeomorphisms.
